چکیده

Abstract The impacts of future climate change on the watershed streamflow and total dissolved nitrogen (TDN) fluxes upstream Danjiang River were estimated. newest shared socioeconomic pathways (SSP) in CMIP6 used as a scenario. ensembles downscaled GCM outputs from WorldClim information. A combined modeling approach is proposed, including Long Ashton Research Station Weather Generator (LARS-WG) model weather generator generalized loading function (GWLF) for hydrochemical process scenario analysis. results show that there generally less annual but more TDN flux under scenarios. monthly increased May to July decreased August October. Changes greatest worst uncontrolled SSP 5-85, with 12.1% decrease 2070s 4.82% increase 2090s. This indicates active policies can mitigate impact watersheds. Furthermore, source apportionments agricultural sources will nearly 50% by 2090s, targeted management strategies should be implemented.

Evaluation of Climate Change Impacts on Hydrological Characteristics of Watershed (Case study: Aji- Chai Watershed)

Studying climate change impact on hydrological variables such as runoff has attracted more attention over recent years mainly due to the imposed imbalance in climate system by greenhouse gas emission. Hence, initially in this research, the trend and abrupt changes of hydro – climatic variables were studied using data mining approaches in 18 stations over 40 years (1972-2011) in Aji-Chai waters...

Streamflow Response to Climate Variability and Land‐ Cover Changes in the River Beça Watershed, Northern Portugal

This work analyses changes in the River Beça basin streamflow, an area with a typically Mediterranean climate, since the second half of the last century, evaluating trends in annual, monthly and extreme streamflow in the River Beça basin and relating them to precipitation variability and changes in land use and vegetation. Annual streamflow and precipitation are highly irregular, both in intra ...

Streamflow Response to Climate and Landuse Changes in a Coastal Watershed in North Carolina

It is essential to examine the sensitivity of hydrologic responses to climate and landuse change across different physiographic regions in order to formulate sound water management policies for local response to projected global change. This study used the U.S. Geological Survey's Precipitation Runoff Modeling System (PRMS) model to examine the potential impacts of climate and landuse changes o...

Forecasting climate changes of Ziarat watershed in Gorgan city

Climate is a complex system which is changing mainly due to the increase of greenhouse gases. Because of the importance of climate change and the effects it can have on water resources, in recent years, this topic has been taken into consideration for different basins on Earth. The objective of this study is to investigate the effects of climate change and forecasting meteorological variables o...
